I disagree with that
question. Maybe we can’t sense the effect of information technology obviously,
but we can’t deny the benefits we enjoyed from it. Without making an effort on information
technology, we may still live in the original circumstances, we can’t catch up
with the world immediately by reading News on-line, what’s more, we will still
live in a long distance from foreign countries, not like today’s flat global
village.
The fourth paragraph
is the one I like most. It mentioned that” We are not what we read, but how we
read.” I like this sentence passionately, because these days we usually use
computers to surf the Internet, to watch others’ blogger, to chat with friends,
or even to read novels on-line. There is a great amount of article and
information on-line, and is full of various kinds of resources, so the way we
choose what kind of information to absorb is an important thing for us to consider
carefully.
What we will absorb
depends on how we read. If the article is worth reading, then slow down the
speed when we are reading it. In that way, we can digest the real meaning the
author wanted to express except for the literal means we get.

ReplyDeleteI also read this article before. But I have an opponent idea to you. I think that Google is making us stupid. Because the system is so great that we almost can’t live without that. It not only help us find the correct road but also provide us lots of useful information. However, the convenience usually makes us lazier than before and even don’t think things by ourselves. We become depending on it and can’t have capability to do the simple things. We are used to surf the net and almost have no time to face the real life. We just spend lots of time on the computer but lost the ability to talk with others. It was the worst phenomenon to us. I think that we can’t ignore this question, we have to face it seriously so that we can find out the key point. There are two sides to one coin. Even it has many benefits, it also has some bad influences.
